How to find a program or a transaction code

As from SAP 4.7 on, you can use transaction SE90, others, transactions to find any transaction by code, by program, or by description or part of a string of the description, whether they are in a SAP menu or not.

I use this many times when in doubt. IT is the easiest way to find a program linked to a transaction, or vice versa.

also handy if you do not know the name of the transaction.

(the tricky part about the name, is figuring out what SAP has called it…  – Finding payment terms and you find nothing.. enter Terms of Payment and Voila..
